BTI is an employee owned Pennsylvania corporation. In August 2001, Blazing Technologies, Inc. or "BTI" was created to design and engineer a battery powered hydraulicaly operated tractor with a lifting basket for the airline industry. Of course, everyone knows what happened in September of 2001, and our contract to bulid these units was cancelled.
Blazing Technologies, Inc. decided to utilize its electrical, hydraulic, and structural engineering experience to create a company that targets customers with custom design engineering needs. BTI not only welds fabrications based on a customer's drawings, but specializes in the design and manufacture of steel fabrications for many regional industries. The principals and employees of BTI have over 100 years Experience in the aerial work platform and construction equipment industry from various manufacturers and in several disciplines including Engineering, New Product Design, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Operations. This experience is an important attribute for the design of your product. BTI is knowledgeable in the technologies and codes necessary to design a reliable, quality manufactured, and proven piece of equipment to fit your needs.
Our Manufacturing process incorporates Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) as well as Flow Through principles.
